Good morning vs Regular Morning !!!
i have always tried (and am still trying) to accomplish a certain set of activities before i leave for the office. Activities which will make my morning an ideal morning. So what all i want to do...
i) First of all, in the early morning i want to go out for jogging or to gym where i could sweat out (probably with a Nike band on my head, Adidas wrist band and Reebok shoes.) And then may be when i am returning, i could meet a couple of females (worth mentioning here, HOT females) who get impressed by my muscular body with sweat on my forehead. (but how can i get sweat on my forehead if i am wearing the head band).
ii) Once back, I would love to play my fav music on a good music system, with an amazing woofer. Probably, Creative 4.1 speakers will do...and ya, music should be Hindustani classic sangeet, with tabla and sitaar in prominence. Even sufi music will do...
iii) Have a look at the morning newspaper and brush through all the headlines.
iv) Go for a bath (and other associated activities ;) ) and come out.
v)Wear a neatly ironed formal pants and crispy shirt (Arrow or Louis Phillip )
vi) Go to b'fast table and have a balanced b'fast comprising of cut fruits, a glass of juice. Bread- butter and a couple of boiled eggs (one with yoke and another without it) .
Then leave for office with lots of enthu....
Hmmmm.... sounds so good...
but what happens on an average morning for Mr. Tikoo...
Alarm rings at 6 am... I curse the alarm and then my office timings... How inhuman it is to make someone get up from his/her pleasing sleep, esp on a pleasant B;lore morning.
Snooze my fone and keep it with-in my reach so that I can re-snooze it after 10 mins... alarm rings again, and I re-snooze it, realizing that I am fighting a losing battle against time and that I have to get-up in some time. third time when alarm rings, i decide to annihilate this alarm menace so that I can re-enter the realm of my sleep... i will try to re-collect all the major debug & productive work that i would have done the previous day, so that I can reward myself with this sleep. I do the SWOT analysis of this decision and suddenly a strange feeling will creep into me.
I would realize that the "T" of SWOT is quite prominent and that I need to re think on my decision. The thought of devil-some autowalla asking for 3 or 4 times the actual rate to drop me to the nearest bus-stop will send shivers down my spine..
I will suddenly get up only to realize it s 6.45 am. Head straight towards geyser switch and hit it. Will take brush in one hand and look for newspaper outside my door. Would directly open the BT section of ToI and with a quick glance, will shift my focus on "Today's Forecast" for my sun sigh. Not that I really believe in all these, but ya, i definitely feel good when it says "u can expect a pleasant surprise later in the day".
As soon as I am done with this, I would rinse my mouth and look for my towel and other "accessories" !!! ;)
will shout from bathroom to ma dear sis, "Neha, pl mere kapdon ko press kar de na.. plz plz plz" .. will get an irritated acknowledgement from her, "khud nahi kar sakta hai... mein nahi karungi" .. (this actually means, dear bro, u dont worry, by the time u come out ur shirt/t-shirt will be ready)... :)
Somehow i will subject my body to the partially hot water... with a fear in mind, as I wont be knowing when this luke warm water changes to chilled water.. With all my mental and physical strength,I would jump into the water gushing out of shower and would bounce one or twice under it, before stabilizing myself beneath it.
As my shampoo bottle is always in "reserve" state, I would "share" my sis's shampoo and finish my bath asap.
By the time i come out, a neatly ironed shirt would be waiting outside to hug me...
then wearing pants, putting moisturizer on face ( i always end up squeezing more qty of moisturizer and the struggle to put it back, till i am screamed at by sis...) , collecting my wallet, watch, mobile, sodexho card, combing my hair, pulling up my pant's zip (it s kinds a QC for me before i leave my home every morning. I can't imagine going out with my fly open and small children looking at me and giggling... ), looking for a fresh pair of socks, and then wearing shoes & tying laces is done in 6-7 mins..
and there i am... ready to hit the road. i walk briskly to catch the bus
quite contrary to what my "ideal morning" should be like.. huh !!!

Few reasons why a guy should not have a girl friend :O
Following is a compilation of my reasons, which have been well researched (at my level) before being documented.
1) Owning (owning??) a girl friend is like having a cone of vanilla ice-cream. If u don't lick it, it will melt and u will get nothing. If u do, it will make u look like a doggy !!! Choice is yours..
2) Variety is the essence of life. Y would anyone like to miss all the beautiful faces, just for that one person. (Ya, i knw u don't love a person's face, it is his/her soul . But even if we consider that as truth, u still lose your right to look at other pretty faces, at least when u are wid ur gal.
3) No good nite, good morning, good afternoon msgs or calls.. You can booze carefree with your frnds all thru night, without getting those "cute" good-nite msgs...
4) You can always make new female friends without bothering to answer "where", "what", "why", "how" and most imp, "when" !!!
5) You don't have to rem all the break-up (and other such nonsensical stories) of her friends, most of whom you will never meet in your life.
6) You don't have to notice every small change in her appearance, which involves change in the shades of her lipstick or nail polish, lest you shall be held guilty of "ignoring her" and would be prosecuted as per the rules of "love-dom", which are laid down by HER.
7) You don't have to "sense" her mood via your "ears" when she is talking to u on fone. quite a difficult task.
8) ....
i shall be adding more, as and when i collect more info...
and gals, no offenses meant.... ;)
just make sure that if u hv a bf, u don't fall into any of the above categories...

A novice cooking maestro : myself :P
The first time I had tried my hands on cooking was probably in 2nd std, when i had tried to "boil" a Maggie for myself. Since then there has been no looking back, and I continued to augment my cooking skills till my 12th std. Then it was a 4 years of looong break, when I joined college. After college, I again had a chance to try out my skills in the kitchen. Specifically last one and a half year has been a real enriching experience with respect to my cooking skills. I have graduated from a 'basic cook' to an 'advanced cook', thanks to all the cooking which I do for my dinner and weekend "feasts".
Be it cooking capsicum with potatoes with a complimentary cauliflower added or spicing the regular dal tadka with a couple of bay leaves and mustard seeds or frying the marinated chicken breast at the right flame, I love cooking all the stuff available in any regular Food-World store. No doubt there have been minor "mishaps" in the kitchen ( the worst being, when i forgot to put rice in the rice cooker, and the water continued to boil for one full hour, while I was cooking the most exotic stuff ;) ) , but all those can be compensated when you relish your own cooked food.
Tomatoes and onions when chopped in the right proportion and then fried with zeera and the dried red chillies, have the potentional to make even the most boring vegetable taste good. For example, how many of us like Karela (bitter gourd)... Atleast, I didn't like it and I would dread at the thoght of having it as a main "sabzi" for my dinner. But then, oflate I have realised that Karela doesn't taste as bad as it looks. You just need to pamper it little bit during cooking and then you can have a fantastic dish (which not only tastes good, but has lot of medicinal properties also). Just sprinkle some salt on the peeled Karela and keep it vertically down for some 15 -20 mins. Wash it off, stuff it with some mashed potatoes, tie a thread over it, and then deep fry it for 12-15 mins. Once fried, remove the thread and cut it into small pieces and soak it in a gravy of Onion, tomato, ginger, garlic along with tamarind , red chilly and garam masala (and ofcourse salt too :)).... I bet, it will be "finger licking tasty" ;)
Ofcourse, many of my friends have regularly complained that I dont invite them for the demo of my cooking skills, but that s mainly because of the lack of sitting space in my small rented 1BHK :P
And, I strongly feel that all of us should try out cooking in their respective places. I feel that cooking is a life's basic skill and surely not a difficult art to master at.
Hope this post gives all u guys a reason to cook and celebrate your life every day ;)

Are U kashmiri ???
The bewildering look on person's face used to be very pleasing initially, when I used to be over-enthusiastic to tell more "facts" about my place, like Jammu is a city and not a state etc. (i wonder how can people have such weak geographic knowledge about India, when they can tell exactly how many hours it will take to fly from Frankfurt to Dallas. Well, all side affects of IT industry). But then, of-late it is becoming more like a pain in ass to repeat the same set of facts and figures about my native place, repeatedly.
Today morning, when I missed my regular shuttle to my office, I took the Volvo bus to my office, which got stuck in the nasty traffic jam. A usual cribbing about Electronics City traffic was started by person seated next to me, which in due course diluted and he asked about my native place. "North India", i said. and the conversation followed as:
Q. Where in north India.
A. Srinagar, to be precise.
Q. Oh, so u are from Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir u mean ?
A. Ya.. (with a pleasing smile on my face).
Q. How far is Srinagar from Kashmir (I felt like breaking the glass of Volvo bus and committing suicide under its wheels)
A. Wel, not very far (what else I could explain !!!)
Q. So u completed your schooling there only ?
A. Yes
Q. But I have heard that there is lot of militancy there ?
A. Yes, there are militants.
Q. Have u seen any militant ? (Ya, why not. Infact my house in Srinagar has a common toilet with adjacent house, where militants gen come for resting. And sometimes they hv to wait outside when I am attending the nature's call in the shared toilet)
A. Well, No..
Q. Were U in Kashmir when "Kargil War" Happened ?
A. NO (Even though the war was couple of 100 kms away, I could not have afforded to say YES, for that would opened up new dimension of our discussion, like "did u see tanks passing by on your roads" and what India should have done to "teach" Pakistan a lesson at that time etc. etc. !!! I have been victimized like that so many times :(
Q. How is situation In Jammu ?
A. A lot better.
Q. Is it b'coz it is away from Pakistan ?
A. Ya (again with a pleasing smile. But the fact of matter is that, if u have 6 lts of petrol in Bajaj Pulsar, U can hv b'fast in the centrally located restaurant in Jammu, go till Indo-Pakistan border and probably say 'Hi' to Paki Rangers and then be back to the same restaurant for a late lunch).
Q. I have heard and seen in TV that people there want to go with Pakistan.
I clarified saying that it s only a certain section of people of Kashmir who want to go with Pakistan, and not whole of J&K.
The gentleman continues, "Kashmir is called a paradise on earth. It used to be the favourite honeymoon destination in my dad's time. Even me and my wife had gone there once after our marriage" (and with this he gave me a "wicked" smile. I was scared if his sexual tendencies have changed since then. )
and then he started narrating his recent trip to Jammu (which was in 1998. i was wondering how can 11 long years be "recent"), when he had visited Mata VaishnoDevi, riding on a mule from the base Camp of Katra till the hill top.
and that how he long to visit Amarnath ji and how his plans got cancelled last year!!! and how pleasing and helpful the people of J&k are. and that he has heard that "kashmiri females are beautiful" ( asshole, y was he eyeing the gals which rightfully belong to my "lot" ;) how India should solve the kashmir problem etc etc.
And all this time he was unaware of the mental torture that was being unleashed on me. Probably my mental state could have been equated to someone who would have been tortured by repeatedly showing the "ridiculously hilarious" movies of Govinda with Raveena Tandon. :(

Tikoo can't dance sala...
just the other day, my confidence was shattered, when i realized that I am very bad at dancing..not that I was good at dancing at any point of time in my life, but my enthusiasm to dance has always pushed me to the dance floor. I had, over the period of time, managed to master some of the steps, which would give me enough option to dance for some time so that I could entertain myself (and may be others too...). and then I am very good at 'stealing' the steps from my co-dancers and thus make my dancing a successful. but at one of my frnd's marriage, I was, as usual, attracted towards the dance floor...and since I was, as usual, brimming with the confidence that I can manage to dance, I made my first step towards the dance stage... but I was soon to realize that most of my co-dancers are as immature as me.. and the regular mastered steps of lifting hands in air ( first one hand, then 2nd hand and finally both the hands, which makes it 3 different 'different' steps) were nt very useful as all the songs on the play list were 'shaadi ke songs'.. so realizing that lifting hands would have made me look like 'more' stupid, I stuck to the safest step on dance floor, to clap, while u can swing ur bod... and suddenly this no came on the play list, called, 'Pappu cant dance saala'.. and since 'pappu' rhyme with 'tikoo', my frnds starts singing 'tikoo cant dance saala' :) but watever, at least, i was centre of attraction for some time na... :P and ya, through this dancing affair, with me was my frnd named Ratheesh, who most of the time looked as if he was getting shocks for being mentally unstable.... ratheesh, hats off to u, for showing the courage to come on to the dance stage.... keep going... and so will i.. next party and we shall rock again.... ;)

'an eye for an eye'
'an eye for an eye' was the title of the mail which was sent by 'Indian Mujahideen' tanzeem to Times of India. these locally bread touts of Pakistan sponsored terrorism are just taking a free hand in a meek Indian democracy where we have 'laws' for every thing. We are being victimized every possible day, every possible hour and every possible minute. These acts of terrorism seemed to have maimed our resolve to fight against terrorism. Our callous attitude is just acting as catalyst for these Mujahideens. and our elected representatives at the centre are just making 'statements' and 'vowing' to fight the menace of terrorism with an iron fist. But my one simple question is WHEN ? when do our politicians think the appropriate time will come when they can 'act' against terrorism. what incident does it require to wake them from the deep slumber. Sample this, we already have attacks on our Parliament, we already hv attacks in our national capital, in our financial capital(Mumbai), in our technology capital (Bangalore) , in the most prosperous state (Gujrat), in the peace loving city of Jaipur and Hyderabad, Varanasi (if u hv forgotten, let me remind u , we had attacks at Hanuman Temple there). And not to talk about J&K which has been burning for past 20 years now....Probably this list will just keep on lengthening, if we don't 'act'. If we don't 'act strong', if we don't act in 'the most ruthless manner' on culprits. If u go my premonitions, we should not expect anything to happen in near future (at least from Congress govt, which is visibly shaken every time Mamta Baneerge or Mayawati Sneezes) , and when national elections are round the corner and that Congress hasn't fared too well in the recent assembly polls recently.
It s really disheartening to see the way our seasoned politicians are making statements on the recent unfortunate incident. but i am not surprised, given the fact that we had similar statements issued when blasts has rocked Ah'bad. i was watching a discussion which was aired live on TIMES NOW channel, between Rajiv Pratap Rudy (BJP rep) and Renuka Chaudary (congress rep and a minister at centre). Rajiv Pratap Rudy asked a simple question to Renuka Chaudhary, if a crackdown (crackdown generally refers to the frisking and searching any suspected location or person and doesnt require court's permission) was possible at that juncture. to which the minister gave a reply in this fashion "this is not the time to play blame game or your dirty communal politics...blah...blah..." wel madam minister, i would like to say that a simple YES or even a indirect YES (because u dont want to annoy your minority vote bank) would hv been welcomed by every Indian.
and when we have some states like Gujrat asking center to pass its own formulated 'anti terror law', the center is not willing to pass it.. just for the sake of those extra votes in the coming elections.
y cant we have strong leaders like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel or Bal Gangadhar Tilka who can root out this menace from India any ANY cost, who are so strong and fierce enough to nip the terrorism in the bud. But before that, do we hv leaders who have the willingness to do so !!! unfortunately NO or may be very few, which could be counted on your finger tips.
My view : i really feel that the time has come, when India needs to take the strongest possible measures to stop blatant dance of death on it chest. Time and history has been witness to the fact that it always takes a strong leader to bring about the revolution. Be it the French Revolution (lead by Mirabeau) , American Revolution ( like Samuel Adams) or more recently, our own KPS Gill who managed to put an end to terrorism in Punjab in early 1990s.. when the evil has to be rooted out from the society, it will ask for its price, and we should be ready to pay it. U can't please everyone to find a solution for a problem. Blood shed is inevitable in any revolution. Let it happen, as it s surely better than the bloodshed of innocent children who r victims of these acts of terrorism. we, as Indians hv already suffered a lot and the suffering must end now....
and to all those media channels, pl for heaven's sake, pl don't add fuel to fire.... pl stop showing the pro-Pakistani and anti-India protesters in Kashmir as 'innocent protesters' and the 'pro-India' protesters in Jammu 'communal forces'... ur TRP ratings are not as imp as ur own nation.
if the devils behind the recent attack in Delhi, happen to read this blog, i just want to reply to them that if u think 'nizam-e-mustafa' is gonna be instantiated in India, wel u can be assured that it will not happen till the time of 'kayamat'... and let them not forget that the muslims who had migrated to pakistan in 1947 are still referred as Muhajirs, hence distinguishing them from the aboriginals... that the same Pakistan which helped the formation of Taliban Govt in Afganistan and acknowledged it, provided it s own air bases to US planes for destruction of Taliban...
i ask u, what r u deprived of in India.. which right, which freedom is restricted for you in India.. the very fact that u can dare to air ur views against India on its own soil, itself proves the true democratic and secular color of India.. y do u blame India, if Muslims were not able to progress in past 60yrs.. was their freedom, their opportunities limited by anyone or any govt at any point of time... and last but not least, pl dont forget that ur deeds are not doing any good to ur own community, at least in India..
Jai Hind...

ALT + TAB
wel, same thing happened to me in previous week. i had just come back from a nice and heavy afternoon lunch. i was feeling little sleepy and thought of doing something to dodge the overpowering sleepiness. i went to yahoo home page and was looking at the pics of Deepika Padukone (wel, her fotos wil surely make up open your eyes). suddenly i could hear some human movement in the back drop and the 'emergency response' cells of my brain, were quick enough to send the control signals to my hand to hit 'alt + tab' key... but alas !!! my system s not responding... ok, try again... here i hit 'alt tab' but again, my sys is unresponsive... it was getting excessively critical and the noose was just tightening with every passing second.... brains cells got into damage alt mode and began searching for plan-b... k, dude just get up and switch off ur monitor and pretend that u hv to got to loo... u ll impress ur mngr by ur 'power saving' etiquette and save ur delicate neck from all the impending trouble... so, the control signals went to my legs, i pushed the chair, switched off the monitor and then got up to 'release my hydraulic pressure' ... ah, when i took an 'about turn' i saw my fav office mate, and he said , "abe chu****, kitna time pass karega" !!!

My childhood confession !!!
finally came the month of Jan-2000 and the school was about to be closed for study leave. i thought, if i dont tell her now, i wont be able to tell her anytime in my life...
so, one fine day after school got over, i gathered all my nerves, approached her and asked her, "can i cal u at 3pm today"... she smiled in the most 'cruel' way and said "ya, sure y not" (that was the time when thr were no mobiles) ... and i replied " oh k", with a broad smile on my face...
i caught the next bus to my tution and got down at the nearest 'PCO'. it was around 2:55pm, with 5mins to spare... i recalled all the statements which i had prepared over past 15 days... at 3 pm i dialled her no... the bell went, tring tring... she picked up the fone and i said "Kareena"... and she replied "ya, gautam ???" and i told her, "i think i like u", and she giggled, and said "hmmmm...".... and i went a step further and said, "do u also" .... and she replied,"haan" !!!
aaaha... i felt at the top of the world, but wat next... what shud i say next... i had never prepared for an all favorable reply !!!

mOBILE musik
but what prompted me to write this blog is the very irritating incident that happened today morning.. a 'pretty lady' sitting next to me, in my morning shuttle to office, had blocked her ears with headfones. probably it was a new fone for her and she was just checking out the maximum decibel output of her headfones... but she was so much engrossed in this, that at last stop, i had to speak at the top of my voice to draw her attention towards me and tel her that we have reached the office.

emotions !!!
i feel that "emotions" is a byproduct of ur growing age, which will take various forms at different stages of life... wen u are young, u are emotionally attached to ur parents, to ur siblings, to ur closest friends.... and as we keep celebrating our birthday, year after year, these emotions will undergo a gradual change, with or without our knowledge.
the 'restrict ur emotions to yourselves' has made such an un-breachable shell around me, that i am scared that if someone will ever come to know what my true emotions are!!!

Does an Engineering degree guarantee you a “traffic sense”?
I have got stuck in traffic jams many a times, and it was my long wish to see the “reason” of jam. I think it won’t be as boring as being stuck in the traffic jam. So one day, I had this opportunity to see the “traffic jam” happening in front of my eyes.
I was noticing a big expensive car (which could be easily a limousine for Indian roads), standing parallel to my bus, with a techie driving it (well, the car had a sticker of a famous MNC stuck on his windshield). And in all probable conditions he was in a better ambience than most of the people in stranded vehicles around him. It was a two way road, with no barrier to mark the separation. The traffic was being maneuvered by a traffic police-man, and we were made to stand for some 15minutes, which was agreeably frustrating. The opposite lane was almost vacant and quite tempting for any motorist to zoom and reach ahead of all. But as the usual traffic sense would have demanded, every driver restrained from that temptation, only to make sure that s/he doesn’t block the expected traffic in the opposite direction.
But this “Indian Limo” techie, mostly bitten by the bug of “innovation and thinking out of the box”, steered his driving wheel and got into the opposite lane. I could hear an illiterate auto rickshaw driver murmuring in the local language, which was beyond my comprehension. Probably he was giving words to my thoughts.
It was poser for me, as to what would have prompted the person behind the Limo wheels to do this. To me it seemed that it was total defiance of the basic logical thinking, which even a toddler could have reasoned.
The driver behind Limo was quick to take his place and so were the following drivers. Now the Limo was starkly in the vacant lane and the traffic jam was inevitable. Soon we had a big TATA lorry coming in the opposite direction and a helpless techie blocking its way. A usual argument followed, where techie was obviously fighting a loosing battle, and the vehicles kept on piling behind the TATA lorry, which resulted in a massive traffic jam.
I am sure if I had not witnessed it, probably I would have been cursing the deplorable roads of Bangalore and the inept Traffic Police.
But next time I get caught in Traffic Jam, I will surely think twice before holding someone the architect of Traffic Jam. Probably with a little patience, we can make traveling a better experience for us and for others too…

The Perfect Kill -Denis R. Soreng
"I received the following piece of literature and thought of sharing it with everyone. One of the few literatures which halted my brain cells (although for a fraction of a second)"
It was late in the evening when I entered Howrah Station .It was teeming with office workers returning home after a typically tiring day at work. I didn't look forward to the prospect of returning home to my husband. The love between us had died years ago. Our marriage had been transformed into a dead corpse buried deep beneath a pile of painful memories. The bits and pieces of pleasure I derived from my daily existence were my only source of sustenance. My husband had accused me of being mentally deranged. But only I know better. He should have thought of a better reason than that to get rid of me. I hauled my self into a train standing nearby. Finding a seat lying vacant I gleefully slid into it. After having exhausted myself at work securing a place to ease my legs was a welcome relief. The scene inside the train was disquieting. The train being the last one on that particular route, it wasn't long before the compartment was bursting to the full with people. They jostled and fought with each other in a desperate attempt to keep from falling off. June is the hottest month in Kolkata; it's when the when the summers are at the peak of their torment. The sweltering heat conspired with the intolerable humidity to beat the lives out of the commuters. The stench from the garbage rotting on the rail tracks combined with the nauseating smell of human sweat to pervade the whole atmosphere. I felt like vomiting. I subconsciously swallowed the spittle that formed in my throat. In despair, I stared up at the ceiling for comfort. A solitary fan hung up there in a state of eternal rest, hideously shrouded in spider webs. I closed my eyes in a bid to rest my mind. Slowly I allowed myself to fall into a labored slumber. When I awoke the train had traveled far into the countryside. The seat next to mine was occupied by a pretty nymphet. She had a concerned look on her face. The object of her anxiety was seated right opposite to us. He was the most loathsome, horrid specimen of mankind I had ever seen. He evidently appeared to be a village goon of some reputation. His bloodshot eyes were planted firmly on the girl. She squirmed uncomfortably in her seat under his leering looks. The redness of his eyes was indicative of the fact that he had soaked himself in liquor far exceeding socially acceptable limits. The girl's nervousness was infectious. I looked around the compartment. It was completely vacant except for the three of us. I began to grow uneasy. The girl pressed my hand and held up a piece of newspaper for my inspection. She pointed towards a front-page news report. It was on a sensational serial killer who had been haunting Kolkatans for the past couple of weeks. Six young girls had been murdered in different parts of the city. They were discovered with their throats brutally slit open. The killings had been executed with such meticulous efficiency that the murder scenes were totally devoid of any clues. The police were baffled. The report went on to draw parallels with the legendary 'Stoneman' who had terrorized Calcutta in early the 90's and whose identity was yet to be ascertained. The report was undeniably scary and chilling to the bone. The girl had visibly paled. She motioned with her eyes indicating to me that she considered the man sitting opposite to be a prime suspect. The girl was badly scared and I must admit I was pretty worried myself. Suddenly the train slowed as it approached an oncoming station. I was contemplating the feasibility of getting off the train, well before my intended destination, when the man himself stood up. To my utter surprise and immense joy he hopped off the train as it came to a screeching halt. The girl looked at me and both of us let out a huge sigh of relief. The tension having been released, she began to giggle. I caught up with her silly laughter and soon both of us were laughing away in abandon. With a rude jerk the train started moving. Soon it was speeding across vast open countryside at a furious pace. Her jangled nerves having been calmed, the girl had begun to doze in her seat. As I looked at her I wondered just how naïve and unsuspecting young girls can be. I slipped my hand inside my handbag and firmly gripped the kitchen knife I always carried. I felt a strange numbness in my fingers but it had to be done. Besides she had an exceedingly beautiful neck. Such a pity!
